Details this office keeps once you write or reserve

Updated October 25, 2026. A short notice, because the office collects very little.

What you type, box by box

The request form captures (and the planner takes down over the phone) your name, email, phone if given, the week, the traveler count, the corner, and anything you write in the note. The form has no field for card numbers, identity documents or health details, and you should not send them.

How the form reaches the office

The form is delivered by an outside form service that passes your message to the office by email. That service processes the message only to deliver it.

Quoting, then holding rooms in your name

To answer your request, prepare a quote and, if you accept, reserve with the hotels and operators named. The office shares with each supplier only what it needs to hold your reservation: names, dates, number of travelers and any needs you asked to pass on.

Texts, and the word STOP

If you check the box, the office may text you about your request. Reply STOP to end texts at any time; that choice is honored right away and does not affect the quote.

Mobile numbers and text consent

A mobile number and the choice to receive texts are used only for your request. They are never sold, and never handed to anyone for their own marketing.

Server logs

The host that serves these pages keeps routine logs of each page load, the visiting IP and the URL fetched, for security and to keep the site running. The office does not combine them with your request.

Kids and this website

The site is meant for adults planning travel. It does not knowingly collect details from anyone under 13; ages of children traveling go in the note only as the parent chooses.

Revisions, dated above

Any revision of this notice moves the Updated line above, and anything that widens what is collected is described here before it starts.

Cookies and browser storage

No cookie is set by these pages, and nothing is written to your browser's storage. If the site ever adds measurement of visits or advertising, this notice will say so first and describe what is measured and how to opt out.

Outside providers in the future

If part of the site is later run by an outside provider, such as a search or reservation tool, information you give in that part goes to that provider under its own privacy terms, and this notice will name the provider.

Twelve months, then deletion

Requests that do not become a stay are deleted after twelve months. Records of reserved stays are kept on file for as long as tax rules and business recordkeeping require.

Copies, corrections, erasure

Ask to see, correct or delete what the office holds about you by writing to privacy@toursneworleans.com or to Tours New Orleans LLC, 590 Means St NW, Suite 105, Atlanta, GA 30318. The office does not sell personal information.

Categories of personal information collected

The office collects two categories recognized by US state privacy laws: identifiers (your name, email, phone if given, mailing address if later shared with a hotel) and internet activity (routine server logs of the pages your browser requested). It does not collect sensitive personal information, geolocation at street level, biometric data, or children's data.

What the office does and does not do with your data

The office uses what you send to prepare a quote and, if you accept, to reserve rooms and seats in your name with hotels and operators. It does not sell personal information, and it does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. If that ever changes, this notice will say so first and name the category and the recipient.

The rights state privacy laws give you

If a state privacy law applies where you live, your state gives you the right to know what the office holds on you, to receive a copy, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, and, where the state recognizes it, to opt out of selling your details, of sharing them for cross-context behavioral advertising, and of certain profiling, and to appeal a decision the office makes on any of these requests. Some states also let you limit the use of sensitive personal information; the office collects none, so there is nothing to limit.

How to send a rights request, and how long the office takes

Send a request to privacy@toursneworleans.com with your name, the email address or phone number you used, and what you want done. The office answers within 45 days, extendable once by 45 days when it writes to explain why. The office does not charge for a request unless state law allows a fee for a repeated or clearly excessive one, and will say so first. If the office denies a request, the reply explains why and how to appeal; appeals are answered within 60 days.

The browser signal that opts you out

Browsers that send the Global Privacy Control signal are read by the office as a request to opt out of selling your personal information and of sharing it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Because the office does neither today, the signal changes nothing in practice, but it is logged and honored if the office ever starts.

Retention by data type

Request details that do not become a stay are deleted after twelve months. Records of reserved stays are kept on file for as long as tax rules and business recordkeeping require, typically seven years from the end of the calendar year the stay fell in. Routine server logs are rotated out by the host on its own, usually within 30 days. Backups follow the host's own schedule.

If the office is sold or merges

If the office or the request mailbox is ever transferred as part of a corporate sell-on, merger or restructuring, your details move with it, under the same promises this notice makes. The office will post that fact here and, where state law requires, write to you directly.

Pushing back on a denial

If you believe a privacy right has been denied in error, write to the same mailbox with the word Appeal in the subject. You may also complain to your state's consumer-protection office, and, where your state runs its own privacy regulator, to that regulator as well.

Changes to this notice

The Updated line moves on any revision. If a revision widens what the office collects or how it shares what it already has, the office posts that change here before it starts, and the change is described in the first paragraph of this notice for at least 30 days.
