Reserve a New Orleans stay by keyboard, voice or magnifier
Updated October 25, 2026. The office wants every page and the request form to work with a keyboard, a screen reader, zoom and high-contrast settings.
What is in place
Pages follow a single heading order and open with a link that skips to the content. Every photograph has a written description of what is in the frame. Each drawn walk carries a text label with its minutes and miles, so the drawing adds nothing a screen reader misses. Text and backgrounds are chosen for contrast, and the form labels every field and works without a mouse.
Gaps we know about
The week picker in the form depends on your browser; where a browser does not offer one, the site replaces it with a list of weeks. If anything blocks you, the office will take the request by phone at +1 (404) 876-6517 or by email at plans@toursneworleans.com.
Stays and access in New Orleans
Old buildings in the city often have steps at the door and rooms up a set of stairs, and many sidewalks are uneven. Tell the planner what you need, and the hotel is asked about step-free rooms and entrances before anything is quoted. The same goes for the cooking schools, music rooms and museums named in a stay: the quote says which have steps, where the seats are and how to reach them.
